Virtual Aerosvit was started on July 6th 2006 by Alex Berezovsky and Matthew Shield. The Virtual Airline simulated the flights that are made by the real Aerosvit (www.aerosvit.com).
Because Alex is now a commercial pilot he has not have the time anymore to maintain the Virtual Airline, but also did not wanted to close it. In September 2009 contact with the Virtual Airline was made by one of the staff members of the V-Bird VA Group in a try to take over this Virtual Airline an let it get a second life. Alex agreed and the Virtual Airline is now a member of the V-Bird VA Group.
The V-Bird VA group was founded by the staff of V-Bird Virtual Airline in the mid of 2009. After 5 years of V-Bird Virtual Airline it was time to expand with taken on more Virtual Airlines. This to give people a choice to fly for more airlines but within the same structure of organisation. We don't have the slogan "Dare to be different" for nothing.
V-Bird VA Group is a community driven Virtual Airline Group. This means that our growth and changes have been for the benefit of our community. Often these changes are brought about by suggestions from members of our community. It is wonderful sense of community that will continue to drive the V-Bird VA Group to fly higher and higher!
